Misericordia released a MCD entitled "Erase The Skies" with 5 malicious tracks taken from the both demos mentioned above in November 2002
"Erase The Skies" recieved numerous of great reviews worldwide. Only a few new songs for the upcomming fullength "Dechristianize" were finished, and the guys started to work hard to create new material, still the recording had to be re-scheduled three times and six month´s.
Misericordia announced early that the upcomming album would be titled Dechristianize, at that time Misericordia recieved a mail from glenbenton@deicide.com containing some prophanities. A few month´s later announces Vital Remains and Glen Benton a release entitled Dechristianize?
Alot of shit started to happend between the label and Misericordia, and the album got delayed about 7 month´s, and it didn´t hit the streets as hard as the band had hoped for.. Misericordia went touring through europe with Satanic Slaughter at the end of 2004. When they got home Deumus decided to leave the band due to lack of time.. Rius joined Misericordia as session bassplayer 2006.. Misericordia are right now working with their second fullength, alot of labels has shown their willing to cooperate, still nothing has been signed yet.. A promo is planned to be recorded during the winter of 2007
